Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information HoodLaunch (“we,” “us”) collects when you use the HoodLaunch website and interface (the “Interface”), and how we use it. HoodLaunch is a non-custodial, permissionless interface to smart contracts on Robinhood Chain. We do not take custody of your assets and cannot control the underlying blockchain.
1. Information we collect
On-chain data. When you connect a wallet or transact through the Interface, your public wallet address and transactions are recorded on a public blockchain by design. This data is public, permanent, and not controlled by us.
Profile data you provide. If you set a username or upload a profile image, we store that information associated with your wallet address so it can be displayed across the Interface. This is optional and provided by you.
Acceptance records. When you accept these policies, we record that acceptance (a timestamp linked to your wallet address).
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request logs to operate and secure the service.
We do not collect your private keys, seed phrases, or custody of your funds, and we never ask for them.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- operate, maintain, and improve the Interface;
- display usernames and avatars you choose across the Interface (e.g. on token pages, trade and holder lists);
- record your acceptance of these policies;
- monitor for abuse, fraud, and security issues;
- comply with applicable law.
3. Public display of your profile
A username or avatar you set is public: it is shown to other users in place of, or alongside, your wallet address anywhere your address appears in the Interface. Do not include information you wish to keep private in your username or avatar.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with infrastructure providers (hosting, RPC/node providers, analytics) who process it on our behalf, and where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service.
5. Cookies and local storage
The Interface uses local storage and cookies for essential functionality such as remembering your theme and wallet-session preferences. Blocking these may impair functionality.
6. Data retention and blockchain
Off-chain profile data is retained while your profile exists and for as long as needed to operate the service. On-chain data cannot be modified or deleted by us — it is permanently recorded on a public blockchain outside our control.
7. Your choices
You may edit or clear your username and avatar at any time from your profile. You may stop using the Interface and disconnect your wallet at any time. Because on-chain activity is public and immutable, we cannot remove it.
8. Children
The Interface is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Interface constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
10. Contact
Questions about this Policy can be directed to us via our official channels linked in the Interface. HoodLaunch is an unofficial community project and is not affiliated with Robinhood Markets or Uniswap Labs.
